Aya Deniz

Aya Deniz discovered her passion for illumination while studying Islamic theology in Istanbul. She continued her education under several masters and now organises courses and workshops focusing on tezhip.

Her aim is to share the art with dedicated learners, creating pieces in various formats with gouache and gold. By blending traditional illumination techniques with contemporary interpretations, she offers fresh perspectives while preserving the legacy of the art form.
