OUR MISSION
The mission of the Sabah Ülkesi Culture & Art Association is to nurture and develop artists in their respective fields, while enriching society by promoting and showcasing Islamic culture and aesthetics. We are committed to offering a diverse and sustainable program that engages and inspires individuals, fostering a deeper appreciation for the artistic traditions and cultural heritage of Islam. Through education, exhibitions, and cultural initiatives, we aim to contribute meaningfully to the cultural landscape and to the growth of artistic talent.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to cultivate an artistic tradition rooted in islamic thought, where beauty and aesthetics are intertwined with the pursuit of morality and meaning. We aspire to be a source of inspiration, fostering creativity that emerges from this rich cultural foundation. Through both classical and modern educational methods, we provide comprehensive art education in the disciplines of islamic calligraphy (hüsn-i hat), illumination (tezhib), marbling (ebru), and music.
In addition, we aim to deepen cultural understanding through Ottoman-Turkish courses, reading circles, seminars, lectures, exhibitions, and excursions that explore the classics of both Eastern and Western civilizations. Our goal is to create an environment where art not only reflects beauty but also serves as a medium for intellectual and spiritual growth.
