This ebru references the 16th-century saz yolu style, in which elongated, flowing vegetal forms dominate Ottoman ornamentation.
Tulips, hyacinths, carnations and saz leaves travel along sweeping lines. Though inspired by nature, the motifs stay abstract and stylized, merging the elegance of nature with Ottoman aesthetics.
